It was raining today, good thing we didn’t went to Graz. Noone else wanted to go there anyway. So instead I started to work on my website. After not winning krpano in the latest contest from the panorama-forum, I devided to make the flash version with Pano2VR.
First, and most difficult part was to get the regex right. After hours of testing (and almost going on a rampage), Thomas finally came online and told me that I had to escape some more symbols to get it running right. And no wonder, soon after that everything was working fine. Then i had to rebuild the code and start downloading the old quicktime files. First download almsot 500MB, then convert them to swf, then upload almost 500MB again.
And after quite some time, evrything was up again and Panotopia now supports Quicktime AND Flash. Wohoo.
And also finsihed the photos from yesterday, enjoy them on flickr.

I´m currently STILL (started last night, as we were talking) downloading 4GB in 400.000+ files to get a centralised backup of the foto section… damn small files take forever to download, waste more time overhead than in actual file transfer

OK, just re-read that and realized there was a small but important typo… it was 40.000+ files (48.021 to be exact). OOOPS.
