Device Prolems

My Nokia N810 still looks not good, the problems with the keyboard seam to spread over time, I’m almost at a point where I want to find a way to disable it at all. That then raises the question what to do, I got used to this little, magnificent piece of electronic  to much to stop using it, the N770 I have (that seen worse and more wear and still “works”) fels to powerless and the hardware keyboard is something I don’t want to miss.

My options are simple. 1.) I get another N810 for around 120€ that hopefully will last longer and keep having fun (and use the old one as MP3 player or so) or 2.) wait a few more months and “upgrade” to a (more expensive, smaller screen, but more powerful N900), once it became affordable. Right now its around 600€ and therefore to much.

Of course, other suggestions of a small device for portable web access with hardware keyboard are more then welcome. Best with a link or offer :P

Hardware aside, we visited my grandpa today, the works for the new heating system are coming along nicely, the wood chips tank is pretty impressive so far, hope it fits the rest once its done.  I had to take some photos of the progress for my uncle, and also the workers needed some “liquid” supplies. And in return, we got the license plates for the Jeep again, need to use it a bit more before its time for its winter sleep.

Go for option 2, N700 looks very nice. Forget about the iPhone, it’s crap, multitasking is a must.

100% agree on Thomas, Multitasking ftw. We arn’t in the DOS age anymore :P

IPhone: no multitasking, no hardware keyboard –> even the N700 is better
