Today I had my last class in the University for this semester, there is one more left tomorrow, but thats not held at the university nor will it be a difficult one. Mostly fun.
Still I had to finish off a short paper for that class tomorrow, nothing hard, was actually easier then all previous papers for that class.
At uiversity, it was quite pleasant for 2 reasons, first it was just half as long as usuall, second for the first time the teacher there was ok to work with and even made a joke, something I havn’t seen on him for years.
While going to university (and also later when I went to the city), I took the G5 with me and tested it a bit under “field conditions” Handling is very good, the 35-140 lens is awesome, and the swiveling screen is very handy, but the optical finder dosn’t deserv the name finder, “guesshole” should be better, frame coverage is more then horrible. Also so far, it appears that the WB isn’t the most relieable one. But it needs some further testing.
Something else I want to try soon is the buildin interval timer the G5 has, its not perfect with its 1 minute minimum limit, but I think i can find some good uses for it. Anyone has some suggestions?
Oh, and and when you want, there are more photos on flickr.
