Lens Recovery Day

Part of the photo gear is always in other hands (and hopefully gets some good use there), today was time to get 2 backs.

When Nora> was heading to Corsica for a summer job quite a while ago, she borrowed the 28-105/3,5-4,5  and the 70-210/4 from me, I got the 28-105 back quite a while for my macro kit, but I wasn’t in a hurry for the 70-210/4. Today finally we met up in the city with Nora, he gave me the 70-210/4 back (together with a tasty chocolate bar).  Its not that I really missed that lens, but still its nice to have it back, should use it more often. Its quite sharp, and much lighter then my 70-200/2.8.

And while I was in the city anyway, I took the OM-1 with me to take some more photos to fill the Foma 400.

On the way home, I went past Eol Ruins house,  he wasn’t home himself, but I got the lens I gave hime quite a while (the Sigma 30/1.4) back. Also it was good to hear he made it back from India, we havn’t heard from him for months, just that he go to India and then nothing more.

I alsmost forgot how nice the Sigma 30/1.4 was, I decided to go for a walk to the city again, just with the 30D plus the 30mm and shoot a little. Need to use that lens more. Much more.

The moon and star in the 4th picture and the blue in the 3rd picture are really nice.
