Once again, a day that is as good as summer can get, wonderfull weather and a sky as deep as possible. And that even happend on a Sunday, something VERY rare. Sadly, a week ago we sheduled this as lawn mowing day, so not that much time for photography as expected. We went quite early to my grandpa, luckily with the short grass from the last time and this time the big lawn mower working, it was all done in a few hours. Rest was then spend relaxing / taking photos.
In the evening, Georg wanted to test his new 18-200 Nikon lens and invited some people to a photowalk in the city, since I needed a chance to test the 55/1.2 on the 5D too, that was more then welcome. The apdater works very good, and the lens realy was worth the money it cost once (i got it for 20€, say thing was worth it would be an insult to the lens). At 1.2, highlights give it some troubles, but I think a proper hood could do much, but sharpness wise, this is just awesome. Think I will use that lens MUCH more often now.
