Quite a lot of small stuff to do today, nothing big, but the little things take up some time too. First university called, luckily no class today, but had to get a book back to the library. And while I was there anyway, i visited the nearby university book store a visit. I found a interesting book there 2 weeks ago, but wasn’t sure to get it. I decided to go there next Thursday when I have my class next to the store again and when its till there, I take it. Last Thursday was a holiday then, but it was still there today, so I bought “Learning PHP 5″ by O’Reilly. Think panotopia.org will get some new features soon.
Back then at noon I got a call from my cousin, she bought a netbook and asked if I can install “everything”. Thinking about the luck I had recently, I expected the worst, but when she showed up, I was delighted to notice that she got quite an expensive one that comes with windows preinstalled, so all I had to do was “finish” the pre-installed windows, put OpenOffice on it and get the UMTS-Modem she bought also running. Looks like since I finished the HP, things are getting better.
Once she was gone, I went to my tennis club, they need a new poster to promote the club, and we needed to get some new ideas put into shape, worked quite well, should get some color proofs the next days to check what theme works best.
After everything done and the sun still out, I grabbed my photo backpack and headed to the town, I wanted to take advantage of the low sun to take some photos of the city, will process them tomorrow. I had no time for that today, I went straight from the city I went to the Webmonday, quite an interesting session about OpenGoverment today.
I couldn’t stay there as long as I wanted to, I had to finished the calendar mockup today, just send that off the the university forum and now its off to bed. Night.
