Medival Games

After quite a while, we finaly had another photowalk here, not directly in Klagenfurt, but close to it. The Soldknechte had their “Open Castle” Day on the ruin Taggenbrunn, a former castle near St. Veit, north of Klagenfurt. It sounded quite interessting, and actually a lot of people said the would go there, inclodung Gervi and Wolfgang, so it sounded pretty good allready.

We arrived there a bit later then the rest, but luckily not to late for the action, and there was lots of it. Again they had some medival show booths, but this time they also had a shooting range with arrows or axes, but I think I will stick to my Canon for that.

After some fun talk with the other people there, the first highlights of the day was about to start, the showfight. Unlike the last time, they realy upgraded their armor this time, so they could realy smack each other. And they did, specially the first group realy put on a good show. But the shovel fight was something noone will forget. Just great.

Back home, we stoped by in the city for some after-walk party, and I had my first ice cream for the season. They might call that there green apple, but I’m pretty sure no apple was harmed in making this ice cream.

Back home it was again writing time, no chance to edito or upload the photos, except one. I’m not entirely sure I will have time on Sunday either, but tomorrow is planed as editing day.
