Long avoided, but today was time again to give the lawns at my grandpas house a good trimming. I was afraid we waited to long and the grass would be too high again, and as expacted, I was right. Luckily, it wasn’t too high, but still it slowed us down a lot. But we get better every time, so it didn’t take us as loong as the first time, also I found out that CCR is the best music for mowing lawns.

We just finished the lawns, when the rain started, quite usuall, since my plan was that after once the lawns are done, I go to the waterfall and finally take the pano I wanted to take for weeks. But since it looked like the clowes were moiving towards Klagenfurt, we took the chance and went to the waterfall. There was no blue sky, but anyway, the pano got taken, and all new gear worked nice.

The new Nodal Ninja is realy great to use, the improvements over the old one are small, but have a big impact on the handling. The extra resolution I now get with the 16mm Fisheye is very nice, jumping from 7×3,5k to 13×6,5k is a big step in quality, but now I have to take 3 more photos for each pano.  But with results like this, its worth it.

Last piece of gear was the new version of Pano2VR, supporting sound embedded in the SWF files. I placed the sound source at the waterfall, and when you look away, it gets weaker, when you look at it, it gets louder. Just wait until I find a cool pano for this.
