Its summer again outside, sadly its not supposed to stay so for a long time.  We were doing a short roundtrip, had to bring some photo printouts to my grandpa for the house contest (best docorated house), and my cousin at my aunt called me, their computer refuses to boot.

Geting cam clean for tomorrow

My grandpa was quite happy about the photos, and instantly wanted more to show around, good I have some free 4×5″ paper left

Fixing my cousins computer was “easy”, at least spotting the problem. The harddrive had troubles getting running again, putting the computer on the side solved this for now. Hope they can backup their data in time, next step will be a small harddrive tosing contest.

Back home, some shopping was done for tomorrow, also had to get my gear in the right shape. Stay tuned for Salzburg panos

Just back from a family visiting trip, we went on the same one again today, mostly to get stuff we forgot there and deliver some stuff we forgot at home 2 days ago.  But before we set off, we had to adjust the car to the nice weather. In other words, off with the hard top and on with the soft top. And then off the soft top again to enjoy the cooling wind.

We first headed to my grandpa, forgot to drop f some medicine we got for him, and also to pick up some of the flowers he prepared for us and we forgot to stuff in the car on saturday. We didn’t stay much longer, but on our way to my aunt (for some more stuff), we passed by the church of Stein (small village, german word for stone),  we stopped there for a panorama break. I’ve noticed the church already on saturday and thought it might be a cool location for a pano, specially since you have an impressive view from there and also the sky was very clean today.

Sadly, it looked MUCH better from bellow then from above. They must have removed all the grass up there recently, looks more like a huge building site now. So I skipped the pano there. We went on to my aunt,  picked our stuff up and went home again.

In the evening, i visited Gervin, we wanted to take advantage of the clear night and use the telescope again. Sadly the mount wasn’t as stable as expected so looking was kinda hard. BUt still we got to see some stars.
