First I planned to start developing the films that piled up over the last weeks, but since the weather was soooo good, I decided to postphone that a bit and take the 30D to the city instead, taking some photos. While I was in the city, I batch-processed the panos from the Barcamp, they are all rendered and patched, onyl converting to swf is missing. Need to find a good way to show them online, hopefully can do that tomorrow.
While walking into the city, I met a guy with a M8+24mm, talked a bit with him about it, he liked it, but pointed out some drawbacks like poor sio and jpeg performance, and even let me try it. It feels great, I have to admit that, but I’m not sure the finder beats the one of my Bessa. Hope no Leica user will kill me for that
Back from the city, it was almost time for the WebMonday, but not many other people showed up there, so it was more a private talk there. Still I learned some nice stuff about wordpress, have to try NextGEN gallery soon.
After the Webmonday, I visited Gervin (whos birthday is today tuesday), and together we headed for the Spintik pond, some may remember it from te snowshoeing trip. The full moon looked realy awesoe, and I have lots of photos and a pano to show. The pano is done, but its to late now, will show it tomorrow. Hope the weather gets as worse as forecasted, so I can finally get that things done.
